The Faculty of Dentistry is one of the youngest, but nevertheless, one of the significant faculties of the Medical Institute of the North Caucasus State Academy. Recruitment of students for the specialty 31.05.03 Dentistry and training has been carried out since 2016. More than 400 students study at the Faculty of Dentistry.
The Faculty of Dentistry includes 4 departments:
1. Department of Therapeutic and Pediatric Dentistry . Acting Head of the Department - Candidate of Medical Sciences Laura KhalisovnaUzdenova.
2. Department of Orthopedic and Surgical Dentistry . Acting Head of Department - KochkarovAlimAlievich.
3. Department of Public Health and Healthcare Organization . Acting Head of Department - Doctor of Medical Sciences KhasanMagometovichKhubiev.
4. Department of Multidisciplinary Clinical Training . Acting Head of Department - Candidate of Medical Sciences EldarValerievichKochkarov.
The departments of the Faculty of Dentistry have everything necessary for theoretical and clinical training, acquisition of practical skills, and their consolidation during practical training.
A graduate who has mastered the educational program of the specialty Dentistry and successfully passed the State Final Attestation is awarded the qualification of a dentist in the specialty 31.05.03 Dentistry.
After passing the initial accreditation procedure, the graduate has the right to practice medicine. And to obtain a medical specialization, it is necessary to study in a clinical residency.
