History of the Institute

By order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation № 967 from March 13, 2001, a license for the direction of training of graduates was obtained:

- 3112 "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products;

- 3119 "Technology of maintenance and repair of machines in the agro-industrial complex.

On April 25, 2001 by the decision of the Academic Council № 08 on the basis of the order of the Ministry of Defense № 967 of March 13, 2001 on the licensing of two specialties opened the Agrarian Department, headed by Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Shevkhuzhev Anatoly Foadovich.

By the order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation № 323 from 31.01.2003 a license for the right to conduct educational activities on specialty 3108 "Veterinary" was received.

By the order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation № 355 from 03.02.2003 a license for the right to carry out educational activities on specialty 1706 "Machines and apparatus of food production" was received.

On the basis of the decision of the Academic Council of March 26, 2003 the Academy Rector issued an order 155/0 of March 27, 2003 on the organization of the Faculty of Agriculture with two departments:

- Technology of production and processing of agricultural products (TP&PCP);

- Reliability and technical service of machines;

10.10.2003 order № 567/0 department of NG and IG renamed to the department of MAP and IG, which is the same order was transferred to the Faculty of Agriculture.

Order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on December 10, 2003 opened a specialty 060800 "Economics and Management at the enterprise of agroindustrial complex.

By the order № 695/0 of 15.12.2003 was organized by the subject commission "Veterinary" in the Department of TP&CHP. The Chairman of the subject commission was appointed Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor H.N. Gochiyaev.

By the order № 219/0 from April 20, 2004 the subject commission "Economics and management at the enterprise of agroindustrial complex" was organized. Doctor of Economics E.V. Popova was appointed as the chairman of the subject commission.

By the order № 220/0 from April 20, 2004 the subject commission "Processing of agricultural products" was organized. Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor M.M. Mambetov was appointed as the chairman of the subject commission.

By the order of the Federal Service for Supervision in the sphere of Education and Science of P.05.2005. Karachay-Cherkessia State Technological Academy (KCHTA) received licenses for the right to carry out educational activities in "Agronomy" and "Technology of bread, confectionery and macaroni products".

Order of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense № 1500 from 03.06.2010 received a license to conduct educational activities in the direction of training 250100 "Forestry.

The quality of training at the Agrarian Institute is ensured, first of all, by the level of training of the teaching staff. The Institute has 34 employees, including: 28 people - teaching staff, 6 people - educational auxiliary staff.

The teaching staff of the Institute consists of three doctors of sciences, 17 candidates of sciences.

There are 598 people studying at the Institute in one specialty and four areas of bachelor's training.

The structure of the institute has two departments:

- Department of "Veterinary Medicine" (head of the department - candidate of agricultural sciences, associate professor Khusya Nurchukovich Gociaev);

- Department of "Agronomy and Forestry" (head of the department - candidate of economic sciences, associate professor Kerim Taubievich Gediev).
