History of the Medical Institute

The North Caucasus State Academy Medical Institute was established in 2004 to solve the problem of personnel in the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic in the most popular specialty - general medicine.

Since 2016 in NCSA Medical Institute study foreign students.

Since 2016 in NCSA Medical Institute has also implemented educational programmes in the following specialties: 

31.05.03 Dentistry   

Graduates of the Institute receive the speciality "Dentist" and the possibility to complete the following specialisations: therapeutic dentistry, orthopaedic dentistry, surgical dentistry, maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry.

30.05.03 Medical Cybernetics

Medical cybernetics is a scientific field concerned with the application of the ideas, methods and technical means of cybernetics to medicine and health care. 

31.05.02 Paediatrics 

This specialty is very popular in view of the demand for specialists in the labour market of the Republic. The advantage of the specialisation "Paediatrics" is the opportunity to study aspects of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of both children, taking into account the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the child's body, and adult patients.

33.05.01 Pharmacy

Since 2022, the implementation of the educational programme 33.05.01 Pharmacy has been launched at the NCSA Medical Institute.

The field of professional activity of graduates of the speciality includes pharmaceutical activities in the field of drug distribution in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation and professional standards.
