Training of students in the direction of "Medicine" has been carried out at the Medical Institute of SCSA since 2004 Medicine is a field of medicine, which covers the health problems of the population from 18 years and older. The diversity of pathology, its variability under the influence of environmental and social factors leads to identification of new diseases, which requires from the doctor profound knowledge and high qualification. Term of training is 6 years. During the first year students learn humanitarian and medical-biological subjects.
From the 3rd year, clinical disciplines, such as internal medicine and general surgery, begin to be studied. In the senior courses students study internal diseases, surgical diseases, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, urology, traumatology, dermatovenerology, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, traumatology, phthisiology, psychiatry, pediatrics, clinical pharmacology, forensic medicine, physiotherapy. Every year in summer the students do their practical training. Graduates of the institute are awarded the qualification of "Physician" in the specialty "Medical Business" and have the opportunity to specialize in any field of health care.
Dentistry
Training of students in the direction of "Dentistry" is carried out at the Medical Institute of SCSA since 2016. Dentistry is a branch of medicine dealing with the study of the structure and functioning of teeth, their diseases, methods of their prevention and treatment, as well as diseases of the oral cavity, jaws and border areas of the face and neck.
The period of study is 5 years. In the first two courses, students master the disciplines of the humanities and biomedical profile. Dentistry in the form of propaedeutics of dental diseases begins to be studied in the 1st year. In the 3rd-5th years, students master the knowledge of dental and clinical disciplines.
Graduates receive the specialty "Dentist" and the opportunity to undergo the following specialization: therapeutic dentistry, prosthetic dentistry, oral surgery, maxillofacial surgery and pediatric dentistry.
Medical Cybernetics
Training of students in the direction of «Medical Cybernetics» has been carried out at the NCSA Medical Institute since 2016. Medical Cybernetics - is a scientific field related to the use of ideas, methods, and technical means Cybernetics in medicine and health care.
Medical cybernetics specialists work at the intersection of computer science, physics, mathematics, and engineering. They study the mechanisms of energy transformation in biological systems. Pediatrics
Training of students in the direction of "Pediatrics" has been carried out at the Medical Institute of SKHA since 2016.
