General information
Until 2013, the full name of the department was "Department of Human Morphology with a Course in Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy", founded in 2004. The department was headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences, Excellent Healthcare Worker, Veteran of Labor Professor Valentina Salikhovna Botasheva.
From 2011 to October 2012, the department was headed by candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Ali-Murat Abu-Yusufovich Golaev.
The following disciplines are taught at the department:
1. Anatomy 1-2 courses
2. Histology 1-2 courses
3. Clinical anatomy of the head and neck - 2nd course
Variable parts:
1. Functional anatomy of the musculoskeletal system 2nd year
2. Functional anatomy of the Cardiovascular and Nervous System 2nd course
Historical background
Since 2008, the department has been equipped with a separate block (building No. 13) of premises for classes in human anatomy, histology, topographic anatomy and operative surgery.
The following classrooms are assigned to the Department of Human Morphology, building No. 13 of the Medical Institute: anatomical museum, room 105, classrooms, room 102, with 12-24 seats, a lecture hall, a histology laboratory, room 104, a basement equipped with two operating tables SOUR-1 (Ts1878), 2 inhalation anesthesia machines "Polynarkon-2P", dressing tables, dissection tables, 9- and 4-reflector medical lamps, tables for storing medical instruments, laboratory tables with ceramic tabletops.
Until 2008, the Department of Human Morphology was located in the building of the Republican Clinical Hospital of the Pathological Anatomy Department (morgue). Currently, in the morgue building, the department has two classrooms, an office for the head of the department, and a laboratory assistant’s room, where practical classes on pathological anatomy are held.
Lectures are held in building 13 of the Medical Institute located at 100 Kosmonavtov Street, Cherkessk, using multimedia equipment.
Material and technical base of the Department of Human Morphology
For the course: "Human Anatomy" - the Anatomical Museum (room 105) is used, equipped with natural, plastinated preparations, posters, tablets, and classroom 102.
For the course of histology, 104 - histology laboratory, equipped with microscopes, micro-preparations, a sled microtome, a freezing microtome, a universal apparatus for histological processing and staining of tissues, educational literature, laboratory tables with ceramic tabletops and electrical equipment, the necessary laboratory glassware are available.
Equipment of room 104 of the "Histology Laboratory": for the course of histology, room 104 (histology laboratory) is equipped with microscopes, micro-preparations, a sled microtome, a freezing microtome, a universal apparatus for histological processing and staining of tissues, educational literature, laboratory tables with ceramic tabletops and electrical equipment, the necessary laboratory glassware and consumables.
The basement is equipped with two operating tables SOUR-1 (Ts1878), 2 inhalation anesthesia devices "Polinarkon-2P", dressing tables, dissection tables, medical lamps with 9 and 4 reflexes, tables for storing medical instruments, laboratory tables with ceramic tabletops.
