INFORMATION ABOUT THE MATERIAL AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
In 2013 the academy won the competition "Personnel for Regions". Employees of the department were actively involved in the preparation of competition documentation and implementation of this project in the direction of training 13.03.02 Electric Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering. This significantly improved the material and technical support of educational activities of the department.
Modern laboratory benches of LLC "Engineering Production Center "Educational Machinery" (the parent enterprise of GalSen Group of Companies) for the main disciplines of the department (14 pcs.) were purchased.
Supporting educational equipment (computers, projectors, whiteboards, etc.), as well as standard and specialized licensed software, including an academic version of MATLAB and its extensions Simulink and SimPowerSystems, were purchased.
THE MAIN RESULTS OF SCIENTIFIC AND SCIENTIFIC-METHODOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES
DEPARTMENTAL INNOVATION ACTIVITIES
In 2008 the winner of competition "Start", which was held by the "Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology" (Innovation Support Fund) was a candidate of technical science, associate professor of electrical supply department Dendubaev A.-Z.R. СThe students of the Electrical Power Engineering Department of the SCSA Institute of Engineering also take an active part in innovative and scientific activities. Some of them, at different times, became winners of the UMNIC program, which was held by the Innovation Promotion Foundation:
STUDENT CONSTRUCTION TEAM "ELBRUS"
Since 2015, many students of the Electrical Power Supply Department of the North Caucasus Institute of Engineering have become members of the Elbrus student construction team, which is formed under the auspices of IDGC of the North Caucasus. It should be noted that the construction team members have been full-fledged employees of the North Caucasus power industry's many-thousand-strong team for a month and a half (www.mrsk-sk.ru/press_center/stroitelnye-otryady/index.php?sphrase_id=28377).
In 2018 the grand opening of the labor season of the construction team was held at the substation "Beshtau" in Pyatigorsk. Svetlana Tokareva, a third-year ES-151 student, spoke at the event (https://www.mrsk-sk.ru/press_center/company_news/detail.php?ID=1413256).
Case-In
For the first time the team of the Engineering Institute SKGA took part in the international engineering championship "Case-In", which was held on March 5, 2019 on the basis of the North Caucasian Federal University. The team consisted of the following students of the department "Electricity supply": Khapsirokov T.D. (gr. ES-151), Kappushev M.H. (gr. ES-161), Meshezova D.Z. (gr. ES-161), Matkova L.R. (gr.
