The event was organized in compliance with all strict safety standards. The practical part took place in real laboratory conditions. Before performing the procedures, each student signed a voluntary informed consent to determine their own blood type. All manipulations were carried out using sterile disposable instruments and consumables under the constant supervision of teacher Ebzeeva L.H. Representatives of the Student Council of the Institute provided active assistance in organizing and conducting classes.
This workshop allowed future doctors from India to immerse themselves in key aspects of hematology not only in theory, but also in practice.
During the lesson, the following topics were discussed in detail:
· Blood groups: the principles of the AB0 system and the clinical significance of the Rh factor.
· Modern diagnostic methods: development of an algorithm for safe and accurate determination of blood group affiliation.
· The agglutination reaction: the study of its mechanism and fundamental role in medicine, from transfusiology to obstetrics.
The event became a vivid example of the integration of theory and practice, as well as effective interaction between teachers, student activists and international students. The lesson strengthened professional knowledge in conditions as close as possible to real clinical protocols, with an emphasis on ethical standards and safety.
