The North-Caucasian State Academy provides the training of foreign citizens for the training of specialists for foreign countries, actively involving students in the socio-cultural life of the Academy, the region and the North-Caucasian District in general. The activity of the Academy is aimed at the development of open innovative training and prepares versatile developed specialists who are able to carry out their professional activities qualitatively and generally develop the chosen professional directions.
For the necessary professional and socio-cultural exchange, the management of the Academy focuses on attracting students from countries and republics from both near and far abroad. Students of CIS countries are citizens of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belarus. Students from abroad came from the Republic of India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Brazil.
Students from these countries pass visa and migration service procedures in a timely manner, successfully study at the Academy institutes and adapt to the youth scientific and cultural environment.
For the school year 2024, the Academy has more than 450 students from India, Uzbekistan about 250 students, Turkmenistan - more than 10 students and more than 20 students from other countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Brazil).
Within the framework of the Office for International Cooperation and Foreign Relations established in September 2021, which includes the Department of Visa and Migration Work, provides timely activities to formalize the legal stay of applicants, students and foreign workers of the Academy in the Russian Federation, regulation of migration accounting and implementation of legal security of stay of students in the country.
The recruitment department of this office carried out activities on the recruitment of students, which includes active work with representatives of students from other countries (agents), which are involved in attracting their fellow citizens - applicants for training in NCSA.
Thus, by 2024, 5 new agreements were concluded with companies of the Republic of India, two new agreements with companies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as more than 10 previously signed agreements with educational organizations of Turkey, India, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan.
Agreements concluded with companies are aimed at cooperation in the field of recruitment and organization of admission of foreign students, as well as in the sphere of scientific, cultural and educational development, Exchange of experience, teaching mobility and implementation of projects in the field of science and education.
The management pays close attention to creating conditions for obtaining quality education within the walls of the academy. In order to support foreign students, the Academy conducts psychological support and legal support activities, regular meetings with the Rector of the Academy to discuss the status and prospects of the educational process. Special attention is paid to creating conditions for students' creative self-realization. Attention is paid to physical education, and an annual ISS Football Cup is held. For the development of cognitive interests, excursions are systematically carried out - summer trips to Dombay and Teberda, including to the health centers of NCSA. Today NCSA graduates successfully work in various branches of the national economy of India and Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, in the social and social spheres of their countries.
In order to further develop international activities and expand the educational foundations of the Academy, an active marketing campaign is being carried out to attract foreign students, international academic exchange programmes are being implemented; develop competences in foreign languages by students of the Academy,
Thus, for the purposes of scientific and educational cooperation, the Academy’s staff made significant international visits to South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of India.
For the development of international activities and increase of competitiveness of NCSA in the scientific and educational area of the North Caucasus Federal District in priority areas of development, The activities of the Academy are aimed at integrating students from different ethnic groups into the educational space of the university, in accordance with the values, ethical norms and rules of the university, the introduction of various forms of socio-cultural and educational adaptation. Conditions and opportunities of training of the Academy allow to form students motivation and value attitude to the profession and university community, development of socio-cultural skills, taking into account psychological characteristics, mentality, traditions, values, motives and interests of representatives of foreign countries.
Creation of accessible foreign language environment in NCSA, creation of favorable conditions for mobility of students and teachers, accessibility of information, financial and academic support, the development of NCSA infrastructure - all this creates a basis for improving the quality of education, which in turn affects the increase in the export of educational services and the achievement of economic growth from the foreign economic activity of NCSA.
