A scientific and practical conference
"Cardiovascular oncology: interventional, high-volume, simultaneous and revascularization interventions" has started in Cherkessk today. Vascular access".

The event brought together leading specialists in the field of cardiology, oncology and vascular surgery from different regions of Russia – representatives of federal medical centers, scientific institutions and practicing physicians. The focus is on the treatment of patients with combined cardiovascular and oncological pathology, the introduction of modern interventional technologies, as well as issues of safety and effectiveness of complex surgical tactics.

The conference is held in the format of "Friday ANGIOPICTURE meetings with live surgery" and includes live broadcasts from operating rooms, clinical reviews and discussion of real medical cases. The continuous broadcast is carried out on the professional portal ANGIOPICTURE.

The conference was co-chaired by Marat Borispievich Temrezov, MD, Head of the Regional Vascular Center and Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of the Karachay-Cherkess Republican Clinical Hospital, Head of the Department of Hospital Surgery with a course in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the North Caucasus State Academy.

The conference was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the North Caucasus State Academy and the Angiopicture professional medical group. The event takes place at the site of the Center for Additional Education of Children in Cherkessk.

As Ruslan Kochkarov, Rector of NCSA, noted, for the academy, participation in the organization of such a large-scale scientific and practical forum is a confirmation of its role as a significant educational and scientific platform in the region. The interdisciplinary format of the conference makes it possible to combine the experience of oncologists, cardiac surgeons, interventional radiologists and vascular surgeons for the main goal of improving the quality and accessibility of medical care to patients.
