An official meeting with a representative of the Indian Embassy in Russia took place in the NCSA
The North Caucasus State Academy hosted an official meeting of the university's management with a representative of the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Russian Federation. The event was attended by Ruslan Kochkarov, Rector of the NCSA, representatives of the rector's office, as well as students of the academy, including activists of the student community from among foreign students from India.

Arnav Pratan Singh, Head of the Information Department, participated in the meeting on behalf of the Indian Embassy. During the dialogue, issues of education of Indian students in Russia, the conditions of the educational process, the adaptation of foreign students, as well as prospects for further development of academic cooperation were discussed.

Today, about 7,200 students study at the North Caucasus State Academy, of which more than 600 are citizens of the Republic of India. All of them receive education at the NCSA Medical Institute, which has remained the leading center for training medical specialists in the region for many years.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the role of the student community in creating a comfortable educational and cultural environment, developing intercultural dialogue and strengthening humanitarian ties between Russia and India.

The event also included the signing of an Agreement on cooperation between the North Caucasus State Academy and the recruitment company STUDY PALACE HUB PVT LTD. The document is aimed at developing international educational cooperation, expanding academic exchange opportunities and accompanying foreign applicants and students.

The agreement was signed by Ruslan Kochkarov, Rector of the NCSA, and Singh Rakesh Kumar, director of the recruiting company.

Ruslan Kochkarov, Rector of NCSA, emphasized the importance of such cooperation:

"For our academy, the education of international students is not only an educational mission, but also an important part of international cooperation. We attach great importance to creating comfortable learning and living conditions for students from India, supporting their initiatives and integrating them into the academic and cultural life of NCSA. Signing an agreement with an international partner is another step towards strengthening these processes," said the Rector of Akademi.

During the meeting, a representative of the Indian Embassy addressed welcoming words to the leadership and students of the academy.:
"I graduated from medical university in 2020, and I well understand how important the quality of education and student support are during the study period. Today, about 27,000 students from India study in the Russian Federation, and this is a clear confirmation of the high confidence in the Russian higher education system. Today, for the first time, I visited the North Caucasus State Academy and I am glad to have the opportunity to personally communicate with the university's management, teachers and students. Such meetings strengthen mutual understanding and promote the development of educational cooperation between our countries," said Arnav Pratan Singh.

The Rector of the NCSA also stressed that today representatives of non-CIS countries study at the academy, and these are students from the Republic of India, despite the high interest in studying at the NCSA from citizens of other countries. The training of future doctors is structured in stages: the first four years of training are conducted in English, while students study Russian in parallel. Starting from the fourth year, students undergo practical training in medical institutions of the republic and already communicate with patients in Russian. The final two courses of study and the final state certification are also conducted in Russian.

"It is equally important that students get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia. This contributes to the formation of a respectful intercultural dialogue and the strengthening of our country's international relations. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Embassy of the Republic of India for their attention to our students and support for joint educational initiatives," Ruslan Kochkarov added.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in further developing partnership relations, expanding dialogue and supporting Indian students studying at the North Caucasus State Academу.
