The History of the Academy
June 07, 1991
The institute was founded on the basis of a branch of the Stavropol Polytechnic Institute.
December 8, 1998
Renamed to Karachay-Cherkess State Technological Institute
July 15, 2003
It was transformed into the Karachay-Cherkess State Technological Academy, a state educational institution of higher professional education.
April 28, 2010
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Federal Agency for Education KCGTA has been renamed the state budgetary educational institution of higher professional education "North Caucasus State Humanitarian and Technological Academy" (SevKavGTA).
May 18, 2016
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation renamed the North Caucasus State Humanitarian and Technological Academy into the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "North Caucasian State Humanitarian and Technological Academy"
December 4, 2018
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation renamed the North Caucasian State Humanitarian and Technological Academy into the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "North Caucasian State Academy"
