Sergey M. Kotelevets – professor, MD, head of the department of propaedeutics of internal diseases of the medical institute of the North Caucasian State Academy. Scientific interest: early detection, diagnosis and treatment of precancerous diseases of the digestive system, prevention of gastric cancer, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of atrophic gastritis, development and practical use of a modern classification of atrophic gastritis, development and practical use of modern methods of effective screening of atrophic gastritis, as well as the study of the etiology, pathogenesis, sanogenesis, molecular genetic mechanisms and morphology of gastric carcinogenesis. Main project: study and development of methods for implementing regression of gastric mucosa atrophy and reducing the risk of developing gastric cancer. More than 120 scientific papers have been published. Hobbies: marathon running, skyrunning on Elbrus (Elbrus Race), climbing Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, alpine skiing.

Сергей Михайлович Котелевец – профессор, доктор медицинских наук, заведующий кафедрой пропедевтики внутренних болезней медицинского института Северо-Кавказской государственной академии. Научные интересы: раннее выявление, диагностика и лечение предраковых заболеваний органов пищеварения, профилактика рака желудка, раннее выявление, диагностика и лечение атрофического гастрита, разработка и практическое использование современной классификации атрофического гастрита, разработка и практическое использование современных методов эффективного скрининга атрофического гастрита, а также изучение этиологии, патогенеза, саногенеза, молекулярно-генетических механизмов и морфологии канцерогенеза желудка. Основной проект: изучение и разработка методов осуществления регресса атрофии слизистой оболочки желудка и снижения риска развития рака желудка. Опубликовано более 120 научных работ. Увлечения: марафонский бег, скайраннинг на Эльбрусе (Elbrus Race), восхождения на Эльбрус, Килиманджаро, горные лыжи.
